Looking in the District of Murshidabad

Murshidabad is one of the district of West Bengal State.The Location of the Murshidabd District has a historical relevance over time and again. Murshidabad is located beside river Bhagirathi.It was the last capital city of Independent Bengal and had a relevance over time as colonial of British and Mughals.There were different historical structure built during the British rule and also at the time of Mughal rules.
The most important structure if we can indifferently derive at it shall be the Hazarduari Palace in Murshidabad District.
  The Palace was built in 1837 by Duncan Mcleod for Nawab Najim Humaun Jah who was the descendant of the Mir Jafar. The Palace has spread  over  a massive area of 41 acre. Hazarduari Palace comprised of 1000 doors out of which 100 are false but 900 doors are real.It was built in this style to confuse any intruder from entering into the palace.It has 114 rooms in a total.The name of Hazarduari Palace has derived from the 1000 doors Palace.It also indicates the meaning of the name of Hazarduari.
