Acetic Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2019.

 This Order shall come into force on the one hundred and eighty first day from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Compulsory use of Standard Mark.- Goods or articles specified in column (1) of the Table below shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in the column (2) of the said Table and shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of BIS (Conformity Assessment) regulations, 2018:
Provided that nothing in this order shall apply in relation to goods or articles, as specified in the column (1) of the said Table, meant for export, which conform to the specification required by the foreign buyer.
Certification and Enforcement Authority. – In respect of the goods or articles specified in the column (1) of the said Table, the Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the authority to certify and enforce conformity to the Standard Mark under this order. In addition, District Industries Centre in the Department of Industries of the State Government shall also be the enforcing authority.
